The Philippine League of Local Environment and Natural Resources Officers, Inc. (PLLENRO), in cooperation with USAID-Building Low Emission Alternatives to Develop Economic Resilience and Sustainability (B-LEADERS) Project, is pleased to announce the conduct of the 2017 PLLENRO National Convention to be held on May 17-20, 2017 at the Hotel Essencia in Dumaguete City.
It is the organization’s commitment to provide an encouraging venue for the discussion of initiatives and commitments by the national and local governments to address adverse climate change impacts on development thus shall incorporate its social, economic and environmental dimensions. This year, in line to our commitment, the convention will focus on the theme “Cooling the Climate: Keeping Updates and Moving LGU’s Toward Greener Compliances”. In good faith, we strongly believe that this carrier shall address very local environmental issues in the country.
The Philippine League of Local Environment and Natural Resources Officers, Inc. (PLLENRO) will hold its 2017 PLLENRO National Convention on May 17-20, 2017 at the Hotel Essencia in Dumaguete City. With the theme “Cooling the Climate, Keeping updates and Moving LGUs toward Greener Compliances”, around 400 local environment and natural resources officers and representatives nationwide are expected to participate in the national convention. The convention will provide a venue to present and discuss initiatives and commitments by the national and local governments to address climate change impacts and the updates on environmental laws on sustainable development – social, economic and environmental dimensions.
